Hey Rams!

Greetings,

My name is Jake and I am excited to introduce myself as RHS’s SEAD intern for this winter term. I am looking forward to working with and getting to know Raymond’s (very much raved about) SEAD scholars! Though a complete foreigner to Raymond terrain, I hope to both explore what your community has to offer and learn for myself what these incredible students are all about. But first, here’s a bit about me:

Although originally from Barnstable, Massachusetts, I spend most of my time at Dartmouth College where I study neuroscience and education. On campus I’m mainly involved with Active Minds (a mental health advocacy group), but I also have worked in a clinical psychiatry research laboratory and try to walk dogs at the Upper Valley Humane Society whenever I can. Though I’m not too sure of a future career, I hope to somehow combine mental health, neuroscience, and education in my future work.

While at RHS, my main focus is to serve as a multi-purpose resource to each SEAD student. Please (both parents and students) do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns. In fact, I encourage you to give me a call or drop by my desk!

I look forward to getting to know you over these coming months,

Jake :)
