Hello there!
Hi all!
I'm the new SEAD intern for the fall of 2014, and I am so excited to be here in the lovely town of Raymond, NH! Since we're going to be spending quite a bit of time together over the coming weeks, I thought I should introduce myself a bit.
I'm a sophomore at Dartmouth College, majoring in both Government and Economics. I'd like to do either a German or an Education minor, but I'm unfortunately still working out the kinks with that. When I'm on campus, I work quite a bit with student activism and addressing the overall campus climate, as well as working with the administration to propose and implement policy changes.
Here at Raymond, I look forward to working with each of the SEAD students to both improve their academic performance as well help them grow as individuals and strengthen their sense of identity.
Students: My door is always open, so please come visit me early and often - I have candy!
And parents: Please contact me anytime! The students should have my contact information, and it will also be mailed home in a letter very soon.
Until then, have a fantastic day, week, month, and life! Talk to you soon!
Your friendly neighborhood intern,
Katherine McAvoy
